個人的にこのアルバムで一番好きな曲かもしれません。
オープニングっぽい曲に感じますが、もともとは「Parade]」(1986) の一番最後に収録されるはずでした。乾いたドラムの感じがParadeっぽいです。でもやっぱり「Parede」の最後は「Sometimes It Snows In April」がぴったりだと思います。

「Parade」リリース後、「Dream Factory」（未発表アルバム）にこの曲を入れる予定でしたが、The Revolutionが解散したため、リリースされませんでした。「Dream Factory」の収録曲は、「Sign O' the Times (Super Deluxe Edition)」 (2020)・「Crystal Ball」 (1998)・「Sign O' the Times」 (1987)に分かれましたが、全曲聞けます。

前奏の女性の声「Bizarre・・・」はLovesexyでもサンプリングで使われたフランク・ザッパの曲からの引用ですね。詳しくはこちらから
